This original print is a drypoint made by scratching and scraping marks directly into a copper plate using a number of different sharp drypoint tools. It is also combined with spit bite which is an etching technique where acid is painted directly onto the metal plate. The image is one of a series of prints I have made inspired by walking along the Thames estuary. This one is on Dartford marshes.
