Original artwork description:

The ‘Awakening Of Spring’ captures that moment when nature begins to stir, gently shaking off its long sleep.
As you walk among the silver birches, their pale trunks catching the soft, glowing light, there’s a clear sense that the land itself is waking up.
The air carries it first—the sharp, clean scent of new growth, fresh and unmistakable.
All around, a quiet energy hums. Leaves unfurl, petals open, and the woodlands seem to stretch and breathe, coming back to life.
With every step, you slip into the rhythm of the season, until it becomes clear that spring isn’t simply unfolding around you—you’re part of it.
In that moment, everything feels light, alive, and quietly reassuring, as though the world has found its balance once again.

Whether sketching out on the rocks or rambling through the woods, my intention is to try to create a painting that evokes a feeling or particular atmosphere that you can relate to and, once the finished artwork is hanging on your wall, brings back happy memories.

MATERIALS: This artwork is on a stretched canvas - finished with two layers of varnish to protect against sunlight and dust.

READY TO HANG: The canvas sides are painted white so it is ready to hang without a frame if so desired.

Materials used:

Acrylic, Pencil, Ink
