Autumn Sunshine (2020)Linocut

A reduction linocut of a sunlit autumn tree with vibrant yellow foliage. The branches and leaves have created dappled spots of light on the leaf littered ground.
The scene is bright, warm and cheerful, a perfect antidote to dreary autumn and winter days.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. Each individual print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, conservation mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit into a 16 x 12 inch frame.

This artwork will be packaged in a book wrap with plenty of card support for safety.
