In creating this painting, I sought to capture the essence and transient beauty of autumn. The vibrant, warm hues of the leaves contrast with the cool, subdued tones of the sky and evergreens, embodying the fleeting moment between the lush vitality of summer and the impending dormancy of winter. This piece invites viewers to pause and reflect on nature’s cycles, evoking a sense of nostalgia and serene appreciation. It would bring a luminous, comforting energy to any home, reminding us of nature’s quiet, majestic transformations.
Golden time rarely indulges in sunny and warm days. But if there is a time in the year that you wait for and literally catch the moment, this is a golden autumn. In sunny weather, maple literally burns so many shades of gold, red, yellow, ocher can be seen in the foliage.
