A calm, relaxing image made at the edge of the world. This image was made on the beautiful Isle of Harris, an island in the Outer Hebrides off the north coast of Scotland. It is a place of few people where the beaches are silver and the water is crystal clear. Here you can dream, here is a safe haven.

At the edge of the world all is calm, all is quiet and all is safe. This romantic shot is hardly edited, the colours of the water had that magical quality that makes you think you are dreaming. I particularly love the little water flow over the sand on the left where the ripples were catching the sun like they do in a swimming pool.

About My Work
I am passionate about using luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime! For these special large prints of my work I use beautiful museum quality Canvas and the highest quality inks. People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use.

A Note on Canvases
Your canvas will have 1.5 - 2 inches of white border for use by the framer in stretching round the sides of your frame. Once ready, they are carefully wrapped in acid free tissue then shipped in a sturdy art tube to ensure safe delivery.
