Experimenting with light effects is one of my favourite methods in painting still-lifes and this time I tried to capture this short period before the full darkness. As for me, evening is the most wonderful and mysterious time of the day: objects lose familiar day colours and reveal their inner, perhaps deeper essense until they completely dissolve in the darkness.
