Original artwork description
In my art I do not strive for perfection because that is an unrealistic reality. Instead I embrace the imperfections for the beauty that they are. I strive instead for harmony and I strive for flow, and I try not to be so hard on myself for it only impedes creativity.
Aspen Grove is a study in imperfections. With its visible brushstrokes, bits of bare canvas and chunky paint it is everything but the perfect photo-realism painting. But it is these slight imperfections that bring the harmony of colors and textures to life. It is the music in a beautiful fall day song. Life is too short to get caught up in the things you lack, focus on the things that you have and the beauty in your imperfections.
Aspen Grove is 8 x 10 inches on canvas panel. It is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity also signed by the artist.
