Art of Contradictions — Blue Black Abstract (2024) Original Acrylic Painting by Kseniia Turik

100 x 120 x 3cm (unframed)

£2,158.58

This painting is about a contradiction I stopped trying to resolve. A cold blue river falls diagonally across the canvas — and at the same moment, black threads burst upward like a discharge, like a held breath released. Stillness and impact. Flow and flash. The silence of marble and the cry of a line.
I didn't choose between them. I let both forces stay inside one plane — and they hold each other without merging.
Acrylic and epoxy resin on canvas. Multiple poured layers sealed under a mirror finish — the surface reflects light and architecture, shifting with the room throughout the day. The black linear elements are drawn by hand over the cured resin, giving the composition a third plane of depth and anchoring its centre.
Built for interiors with double-height ceilings, clean geometry, and a restrained palette — contemporary architecture, minimalism, contemporary luxury. Opens fully against white stone or warm concrete.
Not decoration. Presence.
