In this artwork, I've explored the serene interplay of light and shadow across a tranquil waterfront, using graphite to capture the delicate textures and subtle nuances of the landscape. The piece embodies a quiet, peaceful escape to nature, rendered with a blend of realism and impressionistic touches. This drawing is meant to evoke a sense of calm and reflection, ideal for bringing a peaceful energy into any living space. It was a trip of students of the Academy of Painting where I was studying for a summer practice. It was a hot sunny day, and after a couple of hours the sky began to frown and it became clear that there would be a thunderstorm.
