The pictures in this series are inspired by natural pieces and landscapes. The clear composition and the reduced color directs the perception to fine details and structures. The image space develops through the color space. Starting with landscape, I am always looking for new, contemporary answers to the topic in my picture series. Current influences from the cultural transformation of our natural areas flow into my pictures. Hard breaks often appear. Areas are isolated and worked on separately. In the Areas series I have restricted myself to one format. All pictures in this series are in the format 24 x 30 cm on canvas.
