This is part of the Showers set - using much thinner paint, acrylic, and loving it. The small scale is important.

Last year I tried to write, and after dallying with AI I generated around 300,000 words of mediocre stuff developing well trodden ground. I deleted it all. This led me to concentrate on writing flash fiction, stripping stories down to 100 words precisely. Showers was one of those stories -

At first I was concerned when the anaesthetist told me things would feel different, and I was reluctant, but I had waited for so long and to be honest, I had little choice in having it done. Strange how the body recovers and remaps itself in new ways, adapting to what becomes a new normal, and a new extraordinary set of sensations. And it did feel different, unexpectedly in new and better ways. Showers became a sensual experience, and in the summer nights, laying naked in the long grass, new explosions occurred, arcane and natural, amid warm clear night skies.
