This painting is a central addition to my ongoing ‘Arboreal Alphabet’ series—a project dedicated to translating the hidden, calligraphic language of the forest into contemporary abstraction. Wandering through nature, I observe how tree stems, roots, and branches naturally arch, twist, and bind together to form unmistakable letterforms. Here, a sweeping organic curvature reveals a natural 'C' glyph, deconstructed and recomposed through my signature impasto landscape language.

A defining pillar of this series is capturing how the texture and color of tree bark shift with changing weather. In this piece, the palette turns to cool cerulean blues, soft aquas, moss greens, and muted lavender, with flashes of golden yellow. It evokes the vivid visual transformation of damp bark after heavy rainfall or melting snow under crisp sunlight—a moment when mosses brighten and the tree's skin comes alive.
