Original artwork description:
Bearing in mind my fascination with all things aqua! With this piece I wanted to see if I could capture the serenity and energy of water whilst at the same time recognise that each droplet of water, is part of a bigger whole - a 'body' of water. It is one of those pieces I 'finished' a while ago but recently came back to and instantly knew what it needed to be complete.
With my paintings, I aim to create atmosphere rather than realism, they are built up in layers using a unique non-brush technique.
