The painting is a part of the series "My Motherland". One winter day, walking in the the Bratzevo estate in Moscow, he went to the snow-covered apple orchard. The sun rolls low in winter; the rays slip through the snow and blind the eyes. This frosty freshness and lightness pervades everything around giving you to feel joy.
