Aoife 6-24-23 is a female figure in a landscape on canvas in oils using a muted palette contrasting with areas of vibrant color. The work is painted with a fluid application of paint, staining, and stripping back to allow earlier layers to be visible. The work is a continuation in his interest in the notion of change and impermanence as the figure begins to dissolve into the background.
