A moment of serene tranquillity inside of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The calm of the morning, just after sunrise, before the horde of tourists ascends on this famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, a couple of tourist seem to have a breather and reading their guide books. I remember the calm of this moment - after the rush of everybody gathering at the front of Angkor Wat for the sunrise it suddenly went really quiet as the crowd dispersed and went their each way around this massive complex - I had a wander inside of the temple and found it quite deserted. When I spotted these two tourists I thought what a perfect time to plan the visit in this moment of calm before the masses of tourists starts descending and it becomes like an anthill. I used most of the day cycling around the Angkor complex but couldn't cover everything - lots of highlights - one of the best was a Fish Amok from one of the street stalls enjoyed at the shore of the Shra Srang pool.
