Original artwork description
Watercolor painting “Ananuri Fortress. Georgia” was drawn from life during my plein air travel in Georgia in September 2019.
The view of the fortress is not quite standard. Everyone is used to seeing her from the front, from the tourist side. And I went down to the reservoir and suddenly a very interesting perspective opened up.
When he began to paint, the day was approaching evening, and ended in the evening in complete darkness. The reservoir has a very beautiful turquoise color of the water. I wanted to catch in my work the transitional state of nature between day and evening.
The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.
Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.
All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
