Original artwork description
I interpreted the vibrant atmosphere arising from the concert of two musicians amidst the 'intensity and exuberance of colors. The varied and vivid colors scale from turquoise, cyan, prussian blue and ultramarine in the background, enhancing the symphonies of yellow, red and cadmium green, infusing extraordinary energy into the scene. Through brushstrokes I poured my soul into this painting of mine, in which oil blends with expressionism and fauvism to manifest the passion and intensity of a moment stolen from the opera. The male figure, absorbed in his art, and the female figure, contemplative, coexist in an almost dreamlike dimension, where art becomes life and life transcends into art. Realism intertwines with figuration to guide the viewer on a timeless emotional journey.
