I was drawn by the warm yellows of this scene and decided to paint it. I have known this little corner of the city for over three decades and it has never changed. The boat sits in shade as the hot sun of summer bakes the wood and stone of the city. An ideal souvenir of Amsterdam, a perfect gift. It can hang without framing as the canvas is 0.4 inches deep.
