A narrow old-city passage draws the eye toward a glowing golden archway, its warmth spilling across wet cobblestones in pools of amber and cobalt blue. A wrought-iron street lamp burns bright in the upper right, echoing the light beyond the arch and conspiring to turn an ordinary alley into something almost theatrical. Thick palette knife strokes build walls of grey, cream, and ochre with tactile immediacy — every surface alive with paint's own energy. This is urban poetry rendered in impasto — the magic that hides inside the overlooked corners of ancient streets.
