This haunting synagogue, a building that oozes mystery sits on Tel Aviv's Allenby Street. It has long fascinated me, with its oddly European quality, tatty and faded but still burning with intense love. The work contains small elements of collage, using original Hebrew materials from the 1970s.
The canvas can hang without the need for further framing.
