Original artwork description:

Original acrylic painting, still life with flowers.
Painted on linen gallery stretched canvas.
Sold unframed and only in pair.
The painting has a lot of visual texture going on, but is very smooth to the touch with a beautiful satin finish. It has a vintage feel to it, as if it belonged to someone for a very long time and carries a history. The brushwork is very thin and subtle.
The size of each panel: 20x40 cm/ 7.5x15.5 inches
Signed on the front and back.
Shipped in a cardboard box.
.
This painting is part of my personal project, a series of paintings called "All Imperfect Things". This project is a manifesto of all things imperfect and real. I think that perfection is boring and uneventful, but our world is rushing towards it for some reason. I am not a perfectionist, I find beauty in messy, unmade things that can tell a story. I celebrate people and objects with imperfections because flaws are what make us truly ourselves.
Also this series is a celebration of simple things that surround us, maybe even those we don't necessarily notice. Hunting for subjects while creating these paintings made me realise how many beautiful objects are sitting here within my reach while I look for something special to paint.
This is a way for me to pay homage to these things.

Thank you for supporting my art!
