Aljafería Palace, Zaragoza (2018) Original Pastel Drawing by Elena Yuzefovich

This oil pastel drawing was created on location during my trip to Zaragoza, Spain, in 2018.

For this plein air piece, I used oil pastels, a medium ideal for achieving rich textures and vibrant, intense colors.

The artwork is made on high-quality Canson kraft paper (40 × 30 cm / 15.75 × 12″) using professional-grade Sennelier Artists’ and Van Gogh oil pastels, known for their durability and excellent color retention.

This painting was exhibited in “Spain through the Eyes of a Traveling Artist”, held in 2020 at the Center of Spanish Culture Flamenqueria.

The piece is signed and dated, and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
It will be shipped flat and unframed. The drawing will be carefully protected with a thick protective sheet, placed between two pieces of cardboard, wrapped in bubble wrap, and packaged in a reinforced envelope.
