I grow beautiful white lillies in my garden. This summer the display was exquisite and they had to be painted.

This painting is done in Acrylics, with lots of black crayon, and then water mixable oils. I was feeling inspired by Anselm Kiefer when I did this one - had just seen his entry for the RA Summer Exhibition.

It is in a very sturdy brown timber frame which shows the grain.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint, oil crayon, water mixable oils, watercolour crayon
