Quietly serene and spacious oil painting of a Devon landscape.
A semi-abstract, almost surreal interpretation of the green fields and changeable summer sky of the English countryside. Showers of rain have recently swept across the landscape, freshening the colours and clearing the air.
Warm blues and soft greys describe the Summer's sky, which rests above the sweeping brushwork, used to describe the lush green fields of the foreground.
