This is an original painting in oil on canvas. Painted partly on location on one of my local walks - through the Stour Valley on the Essex/Suffolk border (UK). An area made famous by the painter John Constable, the scene of his well known painting ‘The Haywain’ being just down the road from where I painted this landscape.
It was painted just before rain which made the colours of the trees stand out against the grey sky
