Across The Bay is a realist oil painting on canvas, 60 x 60 cm.
Inspired by visits to the Devon Coastline, Christopher Witchall continues his preoccupation with the movement and colours of the ocean, a movement frozen in time between the ancient past and an endless future.
Christopher’s work is a celebration of the power and beauty of nature. His unsentimental approach to his subjects combine two great passions - a love of traditional painting techniques and a fascination with the photographic image. The result of this are paintings that are both painterly and realistic.
Across The Bay is signed on the back and supplied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
