Sept. 2020 *Unframed-Ready to hang-sides are painted to blend in with the painting. (9 layers) Textured Abstract Painting. Painted with palette knives. As with most of my paintings-I build them through several steps attempting to give my canvas painting character & a strong feeling as well. Shades of Red, Shades of Yellow, Shades of Browns, Shades of Teal & Turquoise, Black, White, Silver, and Blue have been used. 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. This Abstract painting has 5 layers of Golden Archival Gloss Varnish applied for protection.
**I base my pricing on time creating this canvas, the amount of paint used, supplies used, and Artfinder's %. which is important since they promote me around the World.
***Please Note: Lighting with any painting will make a difference in the feel and quality of the painting. Overhead canned lighting is the best for any painting. Indirect lighting from outdoors can also make an importance for a painting. Otherwise, paintings can look dark and not represent the true features of the colors and content of the painting. With this painting-I have taken my photos outdoors in late afternoon with indirect Sun light. This painting will need good lighting to showcase the true colors. If not, this painting can look darker. I will be adding additional photos of this painting in different lighting.
