Above the Treeline. Contemporary Organic Abstract Art

This painting was inspired by the northern autumn landscape, where muted greens, earthy ochres and warm golden tones meet cooler grey and blue tones.
The natural colours and textures became the foundation of the composition. Darker passages bring the weight of rocks and ground into the painting, while lighter areas suggest open space, distant mountains and autumn vegetation. Layers of colour, expressive brushstrokes and rich texture allow these elements to merge and shift across the canvas.
The landscape remains present through its colours, textures and organic forms, while the composition moves freely between nature and abstraction.
The painting is finished with a protective varnish that preserves the surface and enhances the depth of the colours.
