Original artwork description

This painting captures a building I pass by often, a ruin with a once honorable past as the residence of a respected Polish family. Today, it stands as a solemn structure, a 'scarehouse' whose empty window holes hold no signs of life, yet carry the weight of its history.

The building always fills me with dreamy visions of what could be: what kind of future I would give this place if I had the resources to restore it. This feeling, the mix of melancholy for the past and vivid hope for tomorrow, is what inspired this work. For me, this ruin symbolizes all the future possibilities inherent in neglected places, and the promise of bringing new light to spaces that deserve a second chance.

I used dramatic light and color to emphasize this hopeful contrast. The deep, almost electric blue of the sky opposes the glowing orange and gold light cast upon the structure. The process of painting this piece, focusing on capturing this intense atmosphere, is documented on my YouTube channel.

The painting is ready to hang and will be delivered in secure, multi-layered packaging, insured and tracked to ensure its safety during transport. Each work comes with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its originality.
