Drawing from a photograph the artist once sent to a former lover, A Woman Is a Changeling considers the ways desire reshapes identity. Rendered in warm, gestural reds and shadowed forms, the figure hovers between seduction and self-preservation, never fully settling into either.
A single arrow lodged in the abdomen quietly recalls the iconography of Saint Sebastian, reframing romantic vulnerability as a contemporary act of martyrdom.
