This panoramic landscape captures the quiet mood of a rainy dawn across the Scottish Highlands, viewed from the clifftops of the Isle of Skye. The sky was low and full of feeling—layered with cloud and soft Highland mist. I created this piece to hold that hush of early morning, when the day has not yet decided what it will become.

The colours are deep and reflective—moody blues, violet, mauve, and earthy browns—echoing the stillness of the hills and the cool light touching the water.
