Artwork description
the owl, symbolises a lot of things, in Spain, it means good luck, in Greek mythology wisdom and knowledge, whichever way, they are beautiful quite mysterious birds.
A collagraph means that I have used a piece of matboard to create the image, I cut away top layers of paper to get the different shades of ink. This also means that the owl plate is fragile, and does not make for many prints, so the edition is very short, only 12 prints. I ink up the owl for each print, so please see the small difference than can occur as part of the handmade process.
The owl measures 12" x 7" (30 cm x 17 cm) and the piece of beautiful printmaking paper, measures 17" x 10" (43 cm x 25 cm)
I number and sign each print, please note you might not receive the number in the photo.
I ship from my studio in Denmark with many years experience in packing my art os it arrives safely, see my happy reviews, over 1000 of them.
