A walk to Tongue Pot in Autumn, Eskdale, The Lake District.

This painting was inspired after a fantastic walk to Tongue Pot which is along the river Esk. A series of very deep but crystal clear pools are along the walk and even though it was autumn, my daughter still insisted on having a swim!

This painting is on box canvas, and continues around the sides so it's ready to hang on the wall. 2 coats of satin varnish are added for protection.
