Original artwork description
This is one of a series that I am working on depicting females in various poses and showing a variety of expressions. From Di Vinci’s Mona Lisa to Warhol’s Marilyn, more works of art have focused on the female than any other subject, and for good reason.
One of the major components of a work of art is often emotion. Of course “emotion” covers a lot of ground: love, hate terror, sadness, fear, contentment, and so on. The success of an emotionally themed painting depends upon how well the artist depicts the elements of the artwork so that the viewer interprets the emotion the way it is intended. I believe that in this work, the emotion is obvious.
"A Very Warm Welcome #4" is a one of a kind, original work of art. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
. This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It is mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch wide painted border. It has a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
