Original artwork description
Due to its size, this artwork ships rolled in a tube. This is the safest way to transport large original artworks and allows me to offer it at a more competitive price. Any professional picture framer can stretch the canvas onto wooden stretcher bars, ready to hang, at a very reasonable cost. Please contact me if you would like to discuss shipping the artwork stretched and ready to hang.
A Thousand Ways to Shine began with thousands of individual drops of paint scattered across the canvas. Each mark carries its own colour, energy and presence, yet together they create a woodland alive with light and atmosphere.
Sunlight pours through the trees, illuminating a forest of golden leaves and casting a radiant glow across the woodland floor. Rich layers of colour, from warm ochres and deep earth tones to flashes of turquoise, magenta and cobalt, bring movement and vibrancy to the scene. Dark tree trunks provide structure and contrast, anchoring the composition within the joyful abundance of colour.
Created using my signature technique of dripped and thrown paint, this large scale painting celebrates the idea that beauty is often found in countless small moments coming together. It is a joyful, uplifting work filled with light, wonder and the quiet promise of possibility.
