A painting created through free improvisation with music by Nick Cave.

With influences from Matisse, a nod to Malevich and Blade Runner, it tells a story of the past and the present. The unknown, what slips through our fingers... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual.

We believe ourselves to be Gods, but we are just monkeys who have grown up.

Gestural, intuitive painting that lets things happen and leans on what appears. Taking advantage of the accident and accepting the consequences.

The need to tell stories, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always modern and ancient.
