Original artwork description
A tribute to Alexandre Cabanel and his masterpiece L’Ange déchu (1847), one of the most celebrated paintings of 19th-century French Academicism.
Lucifer falls from the sky because of an event that generates chaos: a spectacular solar eclipse. Paradise no longer exists, nor does hell. Only darkness remains — a fragile and magnificent suspension between lost glory and eternal ruin.
The certificate of authenticity will be printed in full color, then hand-signed and dated by the artist.
This work is part of my ongoing series of analogue collages.
