A Probable Cause of the Fall (2026) Original Collage by Olga Li

70 x 50 x 0.33cm

£530.89

A tribute to Alexandre Cabanel and his masterpiece L’Ange déchu (1847), one of the most celebrated paintings of 19th-century French Academicism.
Lucifer falls from the sky because of an event that generates chaos: a spectacular solar eclipse. Paradise no longer exists, nor does hell. Only darkness remains — a fragile and magnificent suspension between lost glory and eternal ruin.

The certificate of authenticity will be printed in full color, then hand-signed and dated by the artist.

This work is part of my ongoing series of analogue collages.

P.S.: Please note that the colors and contrast of the images may vary slightly from the original artwork due to differences in monitor calibration and lighting conditions.

Materials used:

Newspapers, magazines, vinyl glue, non-yellowing protective satin finish.
