Cherry blossoms,

My kind of place.
Words and feelings of my special garden all from observing and my imagination.
The colours of May are pretty,romantic,beautiful and just make you feel wonderful in yourself.
I used my own ideas for this old fashioned impressionist scene.Using gradual layers of back washes and gentle brushwork to build up the delicate shades .Sometimes the smaller watercolour paintings are the hardest to achieve,in this case,this one was indeed.
Rough textured watercolour paper Bockingford acid free cold pressed-Chinese brushes,Filbert and Holbein Watercolour paints.
