This work captures the moment before entering the dressage arena.
I find that equestrian sports are among the most exquisite to watch, and I am happy to have the privilege to accompany my family members to horse riding competitions in France.

This particular painting is a small study before attacking a full scale large dimension canvas, so stay tuned :-)

Miniature series, in soft grey and blue tones

The title of the painting Blue Ribbon is the hint to another famous painting dating back to 1909 by Hélène Schjerfbeck, Finnish painter.

The artwork is signed on the front and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
