Late March, and there’s a real sense that spring is just around the corner. This view, looking along a small beck winding between arable fields, captures that subtle shift in light as winter loosens its grip and early spring begins to take hold. The painting is built up with textured, expressive brushstrokes, adding depth and a sense of movement to the landscape.
