Original artwork description:

This work depicts a French bakery inn the North. The sky is grey, typical of the region at times, and the street is quiet. Perhaps it is Sunday. But inside the bakery all is well, fragrant and warm, a cheery bonjour assured, along with crusty bread and creamy cakes, topped with fruit and skin-thin chocolate. The work is on a 0.4" deep canvas and can therefore hang without the need for framing if wished.

Materials used:

acrylic and card
