The Legend of the Unicorn. Sculpture from my latest exhibition in Berlin. (2016) Original Sculpture by Elya Yalonetski

This year I have continued a collection of sculptures dealing with interpretation of the legends and archetypes.

Leonardo da Vinci has noticed once back to 1470th in his notebook "...the unicorn, through its intemperance and not knowing how to control itself, for the love it bears to fair maidens forgets its ferocity and wildness; and laying aside all fear it will go up to a seated damsel and go to sleep in her lap..."


"A Legend of the Unicorn" sculpture was exhibited in Berlin during my solo exhibition in Februar 2016 in in the Vinogradov Gallery.

It is 100% handmade and unique.

I have selected "artwork suitable for viewing by visitors under 18 years of age" checkbox and hope it's ok. At least the Facebook nudity censors were fine with this.
