Soft seafoam greens, warm coral tones, and creamy whites are delicately interwoven in this patterned artwork, inspired by sunset over the Isle of Skye.

Starting from an original long-exposure photograph of a summer sunset, I have woven the strands of colour into a pattern to capture the shimmer of light on gentle waters and the dreamy texture of foamy waves meeting sandy shores. Hints of peach strand through the mineral green creating a soft lace like texture. A calming and evocative coastal piece, that evokes a feeling of serenity and summer light.

A fine art giclée print on luxurious Canson Aquarelle Rag, a beautifully textured watercolour paper made in France by one of the world’s oldest paper mills, established in 1557. This premium paper, used by iconic artists such as Picasso and Chagall, provides a rich, tactile surface that enhances the soft textures and depth of the artwork.
