This diptych evokes the quiet presence of spring through soft layers of pastel blues, muted lavenders and delicate blush tones. The floral forms are suggested rather than defined, emerging gently from a luminous, airy background.
Subtle transitions of color and transparent brushwork create a sense of lightness and movement, as if the blossoms are dissolving into morning light. The composition balances softness with texture, allowing depth to appear through layered paint and nuanced tonal shifts.
Each 50 x 50 cm panel can be displayed side by side as a single 50 x 100 cm horizontal composition, creating a continuous flow across the wall. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition, allowing the work to be displayed without a frame.
