A Fireworks of Thoughts (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Grâce Pégéron

Some ideas arrive politely. Others hit the room at full speed.

This painting began with a search for that exact moment: the split second where inspiration stops being abstract and starts leaving marks behind. I worked with sweeping, deliberate brush movement, letting each curve carry the energy of a thought moving through space, colliding, changing direction, finding gravity again.

The yellow came first. Not sunlight exactly. More like mental electricity. A charged atmosphere where everything feels possible for three dangerous minutes. The white below acts almost like a landing zone: a place where instinct becomes form.

What I love here is the tension between control and momentum. The gestures are bold, but carefully balanced. Fast, but considered. The painting keeps the trace of movement alive without freezing it into something too fixed.

About
I was born an artist – never "became" one. Drawing and painting have been with me as long as memory holds: the pull was there before I could name it.... Read more
