The wonders of the Palm House at Kew Gardens continue to inspire my work. Here I have concentrated on a small section near the arched doorway. The entrance towers over you like an alter and is framed with hundreds of tropical leaves which makes for quite an awe-inspiring sight. I wanted to concentrate on the details of this corner of the Palm house with all the intricate shapes of all the many diverse plants there.
This is a variable second edition of 30.
I have used a deep olive green colour for these three particular prints.
Please be aware that there will be textural anomalies caused by the handprinted nature of linocut prints and some creasing on the borders, these are all parts of a handcrafted (not digitally enhanced) piece of work.
I have used professional grade Zerkall printmaking paper, lightweight 170gsm.
Zerkall 170gsm and oil based inks
