‘A Bike Around’ is a depiction of ‘observations’ both still and moving from the London streets. Alex explores the retelling of these ‘observed’ moments through colour play and textural momentum. Each colour layer is a physically repainted positive from an original artwork, becoming its own observed memory through textural mark making.
