Original artwork description
I was in Salt Lake City and as the sun was setting the bus to Park City pulled up to the curb. I like painting vehicles because of the way light reflects off of them as well as the shadows they cast. They also serve to populate a space and add a dynamic presence to what might be an otherwise lonely road. This painting is listed as a watercolor but also includes gouache for the opaque passages and the painterly quality and texture it provides.
