Follow on from the Solaris series of works.
In this painting i have tried to introduce an air of stillness and calm. Painting mediates between heavy 'impasto' passages of paint to thin washes creating an almost 3 dimensional 'Sculptural appearance in the work. Painting incorporates metallic oil paint in the trees to induce 'shimmer' and vividness to the work.
Painting is on professionally made cradled wood panel (has built in frame) edges will be natural varnished wood (pictured). Painting will come ready to hang with brass eyelit's and cord and with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Please note that whilst the painting can be hung without framing I have nonetheless included some examples of what it would look like framed.
